Waterjet Cutting
One of our fabrication processes is waterjet cutting. Using a high-pressure jet of water to cut materials for industrial applications, the benefits of waterjet cutting include the ability to cut metals, plastics, foam, composites, and more without increasing the material surface temperature and compromising the internal structure of the material (Heat Affected Zone, or HAZ); the ability to cut sharp corners, holes, and complex shapes with small inner radii; fast turnaround rates; and minimal material waste thanks to the precise cutting and the narrowness of the nozzle.
CAD Design
Our outstanding team of AutoCAD experts are always ready to help clients with their design needs, whether it be in 2D or 3D, isometric or single view, complex or simple. We are able to create blueprints in various standard formats to fit your machining needs and ensure that you never have a problem with production. Our design turnaround times are also extremely fast and we can usually draw blueprints from your vision into a CAD file within hours.
Laser Cutting
GAC Manufacturing’s laser cutting service offers a cost-effective and on-demand solution for your manufacturing needs. Our laser cutting service supports a wide variety of materials, including many different types of Metal, Plastic (including Acrylic), Rubber, Foam, and Wood. Our laser cutting services provide single prototype production, low-volume production, batch production, and high-volume production runs.
Sheet Metal Fabrication
GACM’s sheet metal fabrication services utilize the top sheet metal fabricators in Canada. Our team of CAD Technicians first convert drawing data into machine code. A laser cutting, waterjet, or plasma cutting machine will then precisely remove sheet metal material. The raw material is formed into angular bends and features using brakes, punches, and dies. If any assembly or post-processing is required, we will weld, add inserts, or finish the part. The efficiency and high precision of sheet metal fabrication, coupled with our variety of materials means you can get parts for any application. Sheet metal applications include aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, industrial, medical, dental, and consumer products.
CNC Machining
Our highly qualified AS9100D machine shops can make any custom design, simple or complex. We offer rapid prototyping, small-batch machining, and high-volume production, with all orders serviced by GACM from end to end. Rapid Prototyping
Rapid prototyping is a method of making parts as quickly as possible for hands-on reviews. We use a variety of common rapid prototyping processes besides 3D printing, including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and rapid injection molding.
Speed and affordability are the key principles of rapid prototyping and allow multiple designs of a prototype to be manufactured at once, or one prototype to be revised and re-made in quick succession. These prototypes provide critical information that helps engineers make design decisions before moving to higher fidelity models for functional testing and production.
